A unique restaurant and entertainment venue is set to open this spring in Uptown Dallas, allowing patrons lively interaction or laid-back relaxation.
The Oxford Rose Tavern & Supper Club will be located on the ground floor of the Miro apartment building at 1900 Cedar Springs Rd. The spot was formerly the Sugar Factory and, before that, Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
“Crafted cocktails, bold flavors, and live entertainment set the stage at The Oxford Rose, a new gathering place opening this spring at The Miró in Dallas,” reads an announcement on the restaurant’s Facebook page.
The Oxford Rose was designed by Josh Held. Inside, patrons will be exposed to a “subtle European influence, offering a dynamic space where every visit feels both familiar and unexpected, classic yet refreshingly new.”
The establishment has two venues: The Tavern and The Supper Club.
The Tavern offers a more lively, social environment, with crafted drinks, shuffleboard, and live sports on the bar’s big-screen TVs.
“Whether you’re here for a laid-back afternoon or a spirited night out, The Tavern is where great drinks, good company, and unforgettable moments come together.”
On the other hand, The Supper Club will deliver a more intimate setting, combining “great food with live entertainment.” This section draws inspiration from European supper clubs but adds “a distinctly modern edge.”
Each night, The Supper Club will host different live performances, from vintage jazz to comedy.
“Every evening is immersive, every meal unforgettable, and every moment meant to be savored,” the announcement continues.
This is not the first so-called supper club to land in Dallas. In 2022, the steak and sushi restaurant Lit Kitchen & Lounge opened in Downtown Dallas, with head chef Jimmy Tessier saying it possessed “a supper club feel but with a wow factor,” per Dallas Culture Maps.
