On Monday, February 24, 2025, Loveland Police Department made the arrest of Justin Thomas Nelson, who goes by Lucy Grace Nelson (40), a “trans” woman, for vandalizing a Tesla dealership in Loveland, Colorado, and attempting arson.

Loveland PD began investigating a series of vandalism incidents at a local Tesla dealership on January 29, 2025.

Vehicles were defaced with red spray paint, and incendiary devices were discovered on the premises.

Nelson, 40, was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including the use of explosives or incendiary devices during a felony.

The case has drawn attention due to the severity of the charges and the involvement of federal authorities, including the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

Tesla has faced several incidents of vandalism and attacks on its vehicles and properties. The Loveland incident is not isolated, as Tesla’s prominence makes it a frequent target for such acts.

Left-wing activists have increasingly protested against Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, given his politics, work in the government, and vocal barbs on his platform X. His actions and statements have led to a divided public perception, with some viewing him as a visionary and others as a controversial figure.

This polarization has contributed to a growing sentiment against Tesla and its products, sometimes manifesting in violent actions.

Nelson’s alleged crimes highlight what seems to be a growing number of “transgender” violent crimes, as previously reported by DX. It also underscores the challenges companies like Tesla face, which find themselves at the intersection of innovation and controversy.
