Downtown Dallas’ Museum of Illusions is once again open, and visitors can expect new immersive and interactive exhibits.
After a massive overhaul, the mind-bending Museum of Illusions, located at 701 Ross Avenue, offers “bigger, better, and newer exhibits,” according to its website.
“Enter the fascinating world of illusions where nothing is ever quite as it seems. Visit us at Museum of Illusions Dallas and experience the unbelievable!”
Subhi Gharbieh, managing partner of Beyond Entertainment, says returning visitors will not recognize the revamped museum.
“If you’ve visited our museum before, you won’t recognize the space. We’ve completely transformed it with stunning new illusions, updated favorites and immersive experiences that will leave you in awe,” Gharbieh said in a statement, per Dallas Innovates.
“We can’t wait to welcome guests back to see the magic in action!”
The museum continues its tradition of immersive and perplexing illusions, including:
- A new, angled building mock-up inspired by the artist Leandro Erlich that will allow you to “defy” gravity, like Spider-Man.
- A gigantic 12-sided geometric structure (dodecahedron).
- The so-called Clone Room that will leave you scratching your head after seeing duplicates of yourself.
- The Following Eyes Wall, where a character’s eyes manage to track your movement.
- The Symmetry Room, where the power of reflections is revealed.
- The Walk-In Kaleidoscope, where visitors are surrounded by light and motion.
The Museum of Illusions chain, which first opened a decade ago in Zagreb, Croatia, now boasts over 60 locations across 25 countries and four continents, including three in Texas.
During the grand reopening celebration, visitors can receive a 20% discount on admission using the code GRANDREOPEN at checkout. The code is valid through Sunday, March 9.
