Dallas’ luxury real estate market has attracted well-heeled individuals to the area seeking high-end properties, but what exactly does a $2.75 million budget buy in the city’s most affluent neighborhoods?

At the end of May, D Magazine highlighted a sampling of luxury homes in Dallas that were listed for around $2.75 million. The list consisted of three upscale properties, each including more than 5,000 square feet of living space and a five-bedroom floor plan, along with some high-end amenities.

The first multi-million dollar home included in D Magazine’s list was the luxury Preston Hollow property at 6035 Joyce Way in Dallas.

Originally built in 1998, the property includes strong elements of natural lighting, 5.1 bathrooms, a dog shower, and a walk-in wine cellar, among other amenities, according to Catherine Cole, a real estate agent with Allie Beth Allman & Associates, an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway.

6035 Joyce Way underwent extensive renovations in 2018 designed to raise the property’s aesthetic value to a modern standard reflecting the surrounding neighborhood and landscape. The Preston Hallow property was no longer listed for sale by Allie Beth Allman & Associates as of June 5.

The second multi-million dollar property included in D Magazine’s list is a custom $2.77 million home at 7406 Kenshire Ln. The 5,740-square-foot, 5-bedroom, 4.2-bath property is located on the corner lot of a high-end cul-de-sac in the Hillcrest Forest neighborhood of Dallas. The home features an open floor plan, generously sized rooms, and a contemporary style perfect for entertaining.

As for luxury amenities, the home features custom closets, a “chef-inspired” kitchen, an outdoor living space, a library, three fireplaces, and two laundry rooms, one upstairs and one downstairs.

Real estate broker associate, Alan Sahliyeh of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International, is responsible for locating a buyer for the nearly $3 million property. As of publishing, the luxury was still listed for sale, but the asking price had dropped to $2.62 million.

The home features 5.2 bathrooms, a butler’s pantry, a three-car garage, a heated pool and spa, and two large covered patios. The chef’s kitchen includes professional-grade appliances and two dishwashers.

A “master lounge” area features a wine center, ice maker, sink, and beverage refrigerator. The property’s 8-foot privacy fence includes a motorized gate.

The property is listed by real estate broker Matthew Rice, founder and president of The Trophy Group, LLC.
