One Texas resident became a millionaire following Tuesday’s multijurisdictional drawing for Mega Millions.

Players purchase a ticket for just $2 and pick the numbers for five white balls that range between 1 and 70. One final ball — the gold Mega Ball — is chosen from numbers ranging between 1 and 25.

A total of nine prizes are available for players who match certain combinations of the white balls and Mega Ball.

Those who guess all six balls correctly win the game’s jackpot, which is expected to be an estimated $910 million for the July 28 drawing, as previously reported by The Dallas Express.

If the jackpot is won, the cash payout option would be $464.2 million. Any winner would also have the option to receive one annual payment for a total of 30 years.

The second-tier prize is won by correctly guessing all five white balls but incorrectly guessing the Mega Ball. This prize is worth $1 million but can be adjusted by 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x by purchasing the Megaplier for an additional $1, per Mega Millions.

Megapliers multiply the value of all non-jackpot prizes and are selected each week before the drawing from a pool of 15 balls.

Tuesday’s drawing had a 4x Megaplier attached to it.

The resident in Anna who won the second-tier prize had purchased a Quick Pick ticket — meaning the numbers were selected randomly.

Since they opted for the Megaplier during the purchase, the prize worth $1 million is now worth $4 million, according to a press release from Mega Millions.

The ticket was purchased at a 7-Eleven located at 1510 West White St., and there is no indication of whether the player has made contact to collect the prize, per NBC 5 DFW.

The numbers for Tuesday’s drawing were 3, 5, 6, 44, and 61 for the white balls, plus the gold Mega Ball of 25.

In addition to a Texas player matching all five balls with the Megaplier, one player from Maryland won the second-tier prize by matching all five without the Megaplier, according to Mega Millions.

Tickets are available for purchase in 45 states, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Washington D.C., with the drawings taking place every Tuesday and Friday at 10 p.m.
