Two North Texas residents each won $1 million in July as part of a promotional event held at Choctaw Casino & Resort in Durant, Oklahoma.

The casino has been holding a promotional event called “3 Months. 3 Millionaires,” where multiple lucky winners are selected over the course of the summer.

A total of $6.6 million is up for grabs. Winners have the chance to win prizes worth $10,000, $50,000, $100,000, and $1 million.

Guests of the casino must use their Rewards Club cards to be entered into the sweepstakes.

Jeff Penz, senior director of gaming and hospitality for Choctaw Casino & Resort, said the company would continue to “elevate guest offerings” through its events and promotions.

“$1 million is life-changing, and we are making three individuals millionaires this summer in our biggest promotion ever!” said Penz in a news release.

The first winner of the $1 million prize, Kaufman resident Brittany Juarez, was awarded the money on July 1.

“I won’t have to see my kids struggle, but we will still be blessed,” Juarez said, per NBC 5 DFW. “Money doesn’t make or break us because God is first.”

The most recent prize was awarded to Rosa Guia of Lancaster on Saturday.

Guia said she won $41,000 at the resort six years ago but that her recent jackpot was the largest prize she has ever won, Focus Daily News reported.

“I still can’t believe it. I can’t believe it because of how much it is. I know it’s real because I won $1 million tonight,” she added. “I love it here because I do win, and I can double my money.”

Although she has not decided what to spend the money on, Guia said she plans to have fun with her family.

“I have four children and 12 grandchildren. I think I will take them somewhere,” she said, per NBC 5.

The final drawing will be on August 26, and the winner must be present at the casino when the drawing takes place.

Penz said the casino is happy to award the money to its guests.

“Nothing compares to creating these life-changing moments for our guests, and we’re looking forward to doing it one more time,” he said, per Casino.org.
